Transitional dresser
Restoration of a transitional commode veneered in rosewood, amaranth, and green-stained Greek key pattern, on an oak frame. Congratulations to Lisa for this first restoration during her internship at the workshop. The work mainly involved the front rails, with the missing amaranth veneer being replaced by sawn, scraped, sanded, and applied to the back of the veneer before being glued with hot glue.
