Restoration of a work table with cabriole legs and a stretcher shelf in marquetry of trellises and quatrefoils known as "à la Reine", veneered in rosewood, inlaid with boxwood, green-stained hornbeam and boxwood stringing on an oak frame. It opens in the frieze with a drawer forming a writing surface with a drop-front shelf lined in leather and compartments on the sides.
The Escallettes marble top is encircled by an openwork brass gallery similar to the one that borders the kidney-shaped crotch shelf.
A minor restoration including some re-gluing of veneer and a reworking of the old finish.
