Minor restoration/preservation for this lovely Regency cartel signed by the Dumont brothers Besançon.
Some minor repairs and replacements of missing brass and flakes were carried out on this cartel clock before the shellac finish was applied. The bronze mounts were removed and steam cleaned before being reassembled.
