Jean-Girard-Th\u00e9odore SAR <\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Jean-Girard-Th\u00e9odore SAR, was born in 1724 and was received as a master on October 1, 1766. Established on rue de Lappe in the faubourg Saint-Antoine, he worked mainly for a number of colleagues including Migeon from 1755, Coulon in 1774 and Dubuisson, as well as for haberdashers, which explains the rarity of his stamp.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

His production consists of furniture of very high quality of execution, in natural wood and stained wood, but he also made some more luxurious furniture in veneer and marquetry whose fittings were made by the engraver Desseule. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Indeed, it was first published in 1774 and then again in 1779 by the upholsterer Leclerc, alongside renowned cabinetmakers Rubestuck, Louis No\u00ebl Malle, and Conrad Mauter.
