Il est b\u00e2ti de noyer pour, les pieds, la ceinture et les tiroirs. Le plateau est en r\u00e9sineux. Etabli rue de Lappe dans le faubourg Saint-Antoine, il a principalement travaill\u00e9 pour un certain nombre de confr\u00e8res dont Migeon \u00e0 partir de 1755, Coulon en 1774 et Dubuisson, ainsi que pour des marchands merciers, ce qui explique la raret\u00e9 de son estampille.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"> Sa production se compose de meubles d&rsquo;une tr\u00e8s grande qualit\u00e9 d&rsquo;ex\u00e9cution, en bois naturel et bois teint\u00e9, mais il a aussi r\u00e9alis\u00e9 quelques meubles plus luxueux en placage et marqueterie dont les garnitures ont \u00e9t\u00e9 r\u00e9alis\u00e9es par le ciseleur Desseule.  <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">En effet, ont le trouvera, d&rsquo;abord en 1774 puis en 1779, \u00e9dit\u00e9 par le tapissier Leclerc, concurremment avec des \u00e9b\u00e9nistes r\u00e9put\u00e9s : Rubestuck, Louis No\u00ebl Malle et Conrad Mauter. En 1781, c&rsquo;est Law qui pr\u00e9sentera ses meubles avec ceux de Fid\u00e9lys Schey, Topino, Mewesen, Nicolas Petit et Mauter.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Il semble avoir un seul manque de placage sur ce bureau et pas une greffe non plus. Le travail de restauration  \u00e0 consist\u00e9 \u00e0 r\u00e9hydrater les colles des surfaces plaqu\u00e9es et \u00e0 reprendre l&rsquo;ancienne finition au vernis au tampon incolore.
